Dia brought back the crown to the country and became second Indian after Zeenat Aman. Now as she completed 20 years as Miss Asia Pacific, Dia had penned a heartfelt on her Instagram page with beautiful moments from the pageant.

Moreover, during an interaction with The Times of India, Dia went on to reveal that they all knew Lara would become the winner at Miss India competition. She stated, "That batch had one of the most amazing girls. Each one of them has gone on to make their mark. We all knew that Lara Dutta would win. She was everybody’s favourite. She was more experienced than any of us."

Meanwhile, Dia on her Instagram post penned about the win. She wrote, "Cannot believe it’s been 20 years roughly about this time in the evening that I won the title of Miss Asia Pacific for India! So grateful to every single person that has contributed to my growth."

Earlier during an exclusive interaction with DNA, Lara had revealed that she is very much in touch with Priyanka and Dia. She had said, "Yes, I'm still very much in touch with both Priyanka and Dia and very constantly in touch. At least I know for sure that both of them are still a very integral part of my life. It's very easy for us to pick up a phone or anything and just reach out to each other immediately."
