At what age which Mughal emperors became king

The Mughal Empire, a formidable dynasty that reigned over the Indian subcontinent for more than three centuries, holds a significant place in the Indian history.

But do you know at what age which Mughal emperors succeeded to the throne? 

Born in February 1483, Babur was the founder of the Mughal Empire in the Indian subcontinent who ruled from 1526 to 1530. Before ruling India, Babur succeeded to the throne of Fergana (now in Uzbekistan) in 1495, at the age of 12.

After Babur’s death, Humayun ascended the throne in December 1530.  Humayun was born in March 1508 and was just 22 years old when he rose to power.

After Humayun met his untimely death when he fell from stairs in 1556, Akbar who was born in October 1542 succeeded Humayun. At the very young age of 13, Akbar became the third ruler of the Mughal Empire in February 1556. During Akbar's reign, the Mughal Empire witnessed its golden age as it expanded its rule in almost all of India.

Born in August 1569, Jahangir succeeded Akbar to become the fourth Mughal ruler in November 1605. He was 36 years old when he came to power.

After the death of Jahangir, Shah Jahan ascended the throne in February 1628. Born in January 1592, Shah Jahan came to power when he was just 36 years old. During his reign, India witnessed a remarkable era of architectural brilliance that continues to attract visitors from across the world.

Aurangzeb, the last of the Mughal emperors, succeeded to the throne in 1658.  Born in July 1618, Aurangzeb was 39 years old when ascended the throne.
