Western Tragopan (Tragopan melanocephalus):  A vibrantly colored pheasant species found in the coniferous forests of the Himalayas.  

Kashmir Musk Deer (Moschus chrysogaster):  An elusive herbivore found in the alpine meadows of the Himalayas.

Himalayan Marmot (Marmota himalayana):  A large, social rodent found in the alpine meadows of the Himalayas.  They live in burrows and hibernate during the harsh winters.  

Asiatic Black Bear (Ursus thibetanus):  Also known as the Moon Bear, this medium-sized bear is found in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Himalayan Blue Sheep (Pseudois nayaur):  A large wild sheep found in the high mountains of the Himalayas. 

Cheer Pheasant (Catreus wallichii):  A spectacular pheasant species found in the high-altitude grasslands of the Himalayas. 

Goral (Nemorhaedus goral):  A small, agile wild goat found in the foothills of the Himalayas.
