List of fraud apps in India

Shivam Verma

Fraudulent apps are designed with malicious intent to deceive users, often by mimicking legitimate services.

These apps can steal personal information, financial data, or install malware on devices.

Users should be cautious and only download apps from trusted sources.

Fraudulent apps can take various forms, including fake banking apps, phony antivirus software, or counterfeit versions of popular games.

They often employ sophisticated techniques to appear genuine, such as using convincing logos and interface designs.

Once installed, these apps may request excessive permissions or bombard users with intrusive ads, leading to potential financial losses.
