Creating the ball requires a week of meticulous preparation, involving the collaboration of 10 to 12 skilled artisans.

When discussing the process of manufacturing balls, the first step involves washing the leather. Subsequently, the leather is dried and colored to achieve the desired appearance.

Following the cutting process, the fabric is tailored to the size of the ball before moving on to the sewing stage. Once sewn, the ball is then meticulously shaped by grinding it 

Cricket balls are manufactured for various formats, including 20 overs, 40 overs, and 60 overs. The red-colored ball is the most popular choice. Additionally, white and pink balls are also produced in Meerut.

The annual turnover of cricket balls in Meerut exceeds Rs 500 crore.
