Foods that harm thyroid health in summer

Soy and Soy Products: Soy contains compounds called goitrogens that can harm thyroid function. 

Cruciferous Vegetables: Broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and cabbage contain goitrogens as well. 

Sugary Snacks and Beverages: Excess sugar intake can lead to inflammation and metabolic imbalances.

Fried Foods: High in unhealthy fats, fried foods can disrupt thyroid hormones.

Excessive Iodine: Too much iodine can potentially cause thyroid dysfunction.

Caffeine: Large amounts of caffeine can interfere with thyroid hormone absorption.

Alcohol: Excessive alcohol consumption can disrupt thyroid hormone synthesis and function.

Processed Meats: Processed meats comprise preservatives and additives that can harm thyroid health.
