A two-year old delightfully surprised her parents after they discovered she was praying on her own in her room upstairs.
Kathryn Whitt told CNN her toddler Sutton, normally rushes through the bedtime ritual, but on this particular night "she spent a bit more time". In the video, she mentions everyone she's praying for and says thank you multiple times. Sutton seems to leave no one out including Santa Claus and after mentioning her parents one last time she ends with an amen.
Kathryn was able to capture her daughter's two-minute prayer towards the end.
"We then pulled up the baby monitor on my cell phone and hit record," she told CNN, adding she "was just shocked at her age that she wanted to think through everyone she wanted to pray for".
The video which was first shared on Facebook has been viewed 2,522,292 times. Kathryn revealed she was "overwhelmed by the positive responses".
Since the video went viral, Kathryn also revealed that Sutton now wants to pray before bedtime.
