Sri Lanka crisis Security personnel continue firing tear gas shells to disperse protesters

Security personnel on July 13 continued to fire tear gas shells amid fresh protests in the vicinity of the Sri Lankan Prime Minister’s Ranil Wickremesinghe residence in Colombo. Protests broke out again after reports of Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fleeing surfaced on July 13. Although, he is yet to tender his resignation.
