After Prime Minister Narendra Modi met five global CEOs in Washington DC on September 23, President and CEO of US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), Mukesh Aghi stated that sentiment on India among United States companies is very positive. “Sentiment on India among US companies is very positive. When you look at direct year on year FDI from US is up by 19%. Boardroom discussion on India is what we are doing more to move more manufacturing to India. Don't expect a trade deal for the next 12-18 months between India and the US but overall trade between India and the US is going up, regardless of if there is a deal or not,” said Aghi.
