Rarest bird species ‘Philippine Eagle’ rescued in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

World’s rarest bird species ‘Philippine Eagle’ has been rescued by the forest department in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on November 01. It is among the rarest and most powerful birds in the world. A team of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Baripada rushed to the spot and took ‘Philippine Eagle’ in their custody. Later, after medical checkup, the eagle was released.
