The Ambassador of India to the United Nations, TS Tirumurti stated three major areas on which India will focus in August - maritime security, peacekeeping and counter-terrorism. He said, “There are three major areas on which we'll focus in August - maritime security, peacekeeping and counter-terrorism. We'll focus on these through three signature events during our presidency. Maritime security has received a very high priority in our foreign policy.”
