According to the ABC News, La-Sonya Mitchell-Clark said that when she learned she was adopted, she wanted to know who her biological mother was.
The 38-year-old found out her mother's name was Francine Simmons after the state's Department of Health released birth records for those born between January 1964 and September 1996. Mitchell-Clark added that her adoptive parents support the reunion.
