When animal rescuers at Hope For Paws (US) got a call about two homeless dogs living in a sewer, they raced to the scene.
The dogs were siblings, who were hungry and scared. Animal rescues are always heartbreaking. But what melted everyone's heart was when the male dog Cola, who didn't know what to expect when the rescuers approached them, immediately got in front of his sister Pepsi to protect her.
The rescuers finally managed to get out of the sewer, after the poodles got comfortable and felt safe with them.
