People have often joked about the fact that Jesus Christ, despite being born in the Middle East looked like a distinctly white guy. Now a picure has gone viral which depicts the 'real Jesus Christ'. Richard Neave, a medical artist retired from the University of Manchester in England reconstructed Jesus' 'face'.

The drawing is based on what British scientists and Israeli archaeologist found using forensic anthropology or methods similar to those people used to develop faces of suspects.

According to Popular Mechanics, Matthew's description of Jesus indicated that his features were typical of Galilean Semites and utilised their well-preserved specimens from his time. Neave used "used computerized tomography to create X-ray ‘slices’ of the skulls, thus revealing minute details about each one’s structure".
