CARACAS: Two buses collided in Venezuela, causing one to burst into flames in an accident that left at least 29 people dead and five others seriously injured, 'Globovision' television reported.

At least 17 people died in the flames in the accident on Friday, while 12 others died in a hospital near the crash site near Barquisimeto, 250 kilometres southwest of Caracas, said Alfredo Sequera, the regional police's second commander.
