Just three days before the US Presidential elections, Democratic nominee Joe Biden is already winning the internet for his dedication to campaigning.

Both US President Donald Trump and Biden had rallies scheduled in Florida, a state essential for the Republican party to another term.

The rallies were just hours apart, and both Trump Biden visited the western end of Florida’s Interstate 4 corridor, that boasts of the status of a hard-fought battleground during presidential elections. Both urged supporters to reach polling places in person, even as a tropical storm interrupted early voting in the Southeast.

While Trump's rally was largely mask-less, Biden arrived in the city hours later to hold a "drive-in" rally, where attendees remained in or near their cars to avoid the possible spread of the virus, his second such event of the day in Florida. Supporters at the event wore masks, as required by Biden`s campaign, although they did not always maintain social distancing.

However, Biden was forced to wrap his speech up early after a brief shower turned into a torrential downpour.

A picture was later posted on Twitter by Biden where he is seen addressing the rally while the rain is pouring down on him. "The storm will pass, a new day will come," Biden captioned his photo with these words. It was shared and liked by thousands on the microblogging site.

Several Biden supporters shared the picture, comparing it to Donald Trump's demeanour during such situations. Biden was hailed as the winner for staying through the rain and continuing his speech.

"Another thing Joe can do that Trump can’t because he's is too scared to get his hair wet," one user said on Twitter.

"Hear that North Carolina? Donald Trump cares more about his hair than you!" said another Twitter user.

Both Trump and challenger Biden will barnstorm across battleground states in the Midwest, including Wisconsin, where the coronavirus pandemic has exploded anew.

Trump, a Republican, is scheduled to campaign on Friday in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, while Biden has planned stops in Wisconsin and Minnesota as well as Iowa.
