United States: Blast in New York's Central Park, one injured
The explosion in Central Park critically injured one person who might have to undergo amputation.
An explosion hot New York's Central Park on Sunday, critically injuring a man. The police said that the reason behind the explosion was not yet clear.
According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the incident took place near to the Central Park zoo and a bomb squad was soon on the scene of the explosion.
A spokesperson of the Fire Department of New York said that the man affected in the blast was taken to the Bellevue hospital and could possibly undergo "amputation." More details are awaited on the explosion.
