LONDON: Singer George Michael was arrested for possessing drugs after being found slumped at the wheel of his car.
 
The singer was discovered by police in a "semi-conscious state" in his Mercedes car at around 3.20 am on Sunday morning and taken to the Royal Free Hospital, in Hampstead, London.
 
Officers found cannabis on Michael.
 
The police were responding to calls by motorists that a vehicle was obstructing traffic lights in Cricklewood Lane, in London.
 
Michael was cautioned and freed on bail on Sunday afternoon.
 
In February, the singer was found slumped at the wheel of his car near London's Hyde Park Corner and arrested.
