The video is reportedly from the province of Kandahar and a human was seen hanging below a helicopter hovering over the city.
A viral video has emerged from the first day in Taliban-led Afghanistan after the departure of US forces. The video showed a human hanging from a Black Hawk helicopter left behind by the United States among the many military assets that have landed in hands of the Taliban.
The video is reportedly from the province of Kandahar and a human can be seen hanging from a rope tied to a helicopter hovering over the city.
The clip was shared on Twitter by several users including some noted journalists.
There were claims that the person was a US interpreter. However, newfound information and analysis by fact-checkers suggest that the video does not show the Taliban hanging a US interpreter as was widely claimed. Instead, it now appears to have been a person in harness attempting to install a Taliban flag from the air on a pole below.
Another landmark picture taking the world in a new era of terror.

The human keeps dangling from the helicopter as it patrols the city. The helicopter is among the abandoned US equipment that will now be used at the discretion of Taliban. The US has said that it disabled hundreds of military assets including helicopters, aircraft, armoured vehicles and rockets to ensure they cannot be used by the Taliban.
The new video is the latest addition to videos from the new Taliban regime. Earlier, the Taliban was also seen celebrating the end of a 20-year war that the US had waged in Afghanistan as foreign forces left the country.
