As the world hopelessly watches the bombardment on Syria's eastern Ghouta, a 15-year-old boy has taken it upon himself to document the horrors unleashed by the Syrian and Russian forces.
Over the past week, Syrian and its allied forces have subjected in eastern Ghouta to one of the heaviest bombardments of the seven-year war, killing hundreds and maiming thousands. Over 400,000 people are living under siege and bombardment in the rebel-held enclave near Damascus.
Muhammad Najem, 15, who lives in a besieged suburb of Damascus has posted numerous selfie videos showing how airstrikes have killed his friends and torn his town apart.
He has posted pictures and videos of children and women who have been injured or killed in the bombings.

This is similar to Europe before 80 years ago

"The children of Ghouta die every day by the bombing of the Assad (Syrian President Bashar al-Assad) regime and Russia," Najem says in one of the videos posted on Twitter.
The oldest tweet on his account goes to December 7, 2017.
"I am Muhammed Najem. I am fifteen years old. I live in the eastern Ghouta. I will convey to you all the events which is being committed by the Assad regime in the Eastern Gouta through my own social media Facebook and Twitter," he wrote.
Since then, he has posted daily videos and pictures of bombings and sufferings of people living in the town held by the rebel forces.
In one of the posts, he tells the world about his personal loss.
"Yesterday we were playing together in the underground shelter. Today my friend and his family were killed by a fighter plane that put his life to death. He and his family were unable to stay under the rubble of the four-storey building near my house a few hours ago," he tweeted.
In the New Year, we had the largest share of missiles and missiles falling on us in the eastern Ghouta because of the #Assad regime's hatred of civilians and children. There are victims in the streets and #planes, who have not #stopped shelling #civilians

The bombardment of eastern Ghouta over the past week has killed at least 556 people in eight days, according to the Syrian Observatory. The airstrikes have also targeted medical facilities.
In one of the tweets, Najem talks about the destruction of his school by warplanes and says the children of Ghouta have been left without education as many schools have been destroyed in airstrikes.
"Why Assad destroyed our school?" he asks in his post.
Najem hopes to soon go to school soon.
"I'm like any kid in al-Ghouta. Instead of going to school, I go to buy some wood for my mother to cook our lunch. I hope the war ends and we can all go back to school," he says in a tweet along with a picture of himself ferrying woods.
"We know that you got bored from our blood pictures. But We will continue appealing to you," Najem says in a video posted on January 15. "Save us before it is too late."
