Muller probe indicted 13 Russian nationals with multiple counts of attempting to interfere in the 2016 election
United States President Donald Trump on Sunday underscored that Russians are "laughing their asses off in Moscow" for the way Washington has handled the Russia investigations and urged Americans to "get smart."
"If it was the GOAL of Russia to create discord, disruption and chaos within the US then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams," Trump tweeted.
"They are laughing their asses off in Moscow. Get smart America!," he added.

The US President who has repeatedly called the investigations into his presidential campaign's potential collusion with Russia a "hoax," tried to clarify his stance.
"I never said Russia did not meddle in the election, I said 'it may be Russia, or China or another country or group, or it may be a 400 pound genius sitting in bed and playing with his computer. The Russian 'hoax' was that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia - it never did!", the US President, said, in an another tweet.

His comments come after 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups were charged with multiple counts of attempting to interfere in the 2016 election, according to the Hill.
According to The New York Times, along with the 13 nationals, three Russian organisations were also accused of illegally using social media platforms to influence the Presidential elections of the United States.
Some of the Russians allegedly posed as Americans and communicated with 'unwitting individuals associated with the Trump Campaign and with other political activists to seek to coordinate political activities.'
"This indictment serves as a reminder that people are not always who they appear to be on the Internet," Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein said at a press briefing announcing the indictments.
Russia, however, has denied meddling in the election campaign and Trump has called Mueller's probe a "political witch hunt."
