A Russian court has delayed the announcement of the verdict in the case of jailed former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky to December 27, according to notice posted on the door of the court on Wednesday.
A Russian court has delayed the announcement of the verdict in the case of jailed former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky to December 27, according to notice posted on the door of the court on Wednesday.
"The announcement of the verdict in criminal case no. 1-2310 on charges against Khodorkovsky MB will... take place on December 27, 2010 at 10:00 am" the notice said.
Judge Viktor Danilkin was supposed to have started reading out the verdict on Wednesday. No reason was given for the unexpected delay.
