Prince Harry’s charity trek to the Antarctica, alongside US and Commonwealth teams, has been deferred by a day because of chilly weather conditions, it has been revealed.

The 29-year-old royal landed in Cape Town, South Africa, on Sunday and was expected to fly to the Novo Airbase in Antarctica on Monday to begin preparations, Contactmusic reported.

But, the flight was postponed as a result of strong winds, a royal spokesperson asserted.

The rep added that the teams will remain in Cape Town until the weather is improved.
