The 30-year old younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge admitted that she took up the sport because of the “prospect of a more svelte silhouette", saying it helps with "toning up arms, bums and tums, and banishing bingo wings, back fat and booze blubber”, the Mirror reported.

The English socialite, turned food writer for Waitrose magazine, columnist at The Spectator and contributing editor at Vanity Fair revealed that she was introduced to the sport by a “fitness fanatic friend”, and narrated an incident where she arrived “inappropriately dressed” in “slinky workout attire”.

Readers ridiculed her article, which appeared in the Daily Telegraph, with one calling it the “Most cringe-worthy column ever” while another said the column “starts like a bad novel and doesn’t get any better”.
