ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security officials foiled a suspected terror plan by recovering six rockets near the Satpara dam project in the northern areas of the country.

Security officials said at a press conference on Tuesday that they had received a tip-off about the rockets, which were found buried just 2.5 kilometres from the Satpara dam site near Skardu.

They said the foreign-made 120mm rockets, which could have caused large-scale destruction, have been defused and an investigation launched into the matter.
