The cross-LoC businessmen Friday traded goods worth over Rs2.23 crores through the Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district, officials said.As many as 25 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (POK) today, they said, adding that these trucks carried bags of coconut, onion, chilli, potato and cabbage worth Rs1,23,42,645 (Rs1.23 crores).From POK, 13 trucks carrying bags of almond, herbs, embroidery items and pemograinite crossed to this side and these were worth Rs1,00,87,531 (Rs1 crore).The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1230 hrs to 1300 hrs and 1630 hrs to 1700 hrs, respectively, the officials added.
