The latest book about Steve Jobs "Becoming Steve Jobs: The Evolution of a Reckless Upstart into a Visionary Leader" that is soon to be released, has excerpts in it that suggest the late Apple cofounder's disdain for Televisions.According to PCWorld, Apple cofounder's dislike of TV was one reason he terminated a 1990s personal computer called the Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh (TAM).The TAM was launched in 1992 before Jobs resumed leadership of the firm as part of its purchase of NeXT.In an excerpt from the book, Jobs is quoted as saying that he did not liked TVs and that Apple will never make one.He is also quoted in the book saying that he did not think that TVs and computers are going to merge because people watch television when they do not want to think and vice versa in case of computers.The book about Steve Jobs is set to be released on March 24.
