Mum's open letter begging daughter not to act like Miley Cyrus goes viral
According to Time Magazine, Kim Keller, of Frisco, Texas, wrote in the letter posted on her blog, that the 'We can't stop' hit maker's behavior is to be blamed on the constant pampering from her family and friends.
Miley Cyrus’ controversial performance at the MTV VMAs has prompted a mother to beg her daughter not to turn out like the singer, in an open letter that is currently circulating on the Internet.
According to Time Magazine, Kim Keller, of Frisco, Texas, wrote in the letter posted on her blog, that the ‘We can’t stop’ hit maker’s behavior is to be blamed on the constant pampering from her family and friends.
This is what happens when no responsible adult has ever said the word ‘no,’ made you change your clothes before leaving the house, or never spanked your butt for deliberate defiance, Keller asserted.
Keller told her daughter that if she ever planned to copy Cyrus’ dance routine, then she would find her mother ‘twerking’ to show her daughter how ridiculous it looks.
Keller also added in the letter that she will duct tape her daughter’s mouth shut so her tongue doesn’t hang out like an overheated hound dog, like Cyrus’ did at the event.
Keller had voiced her concerns to another US publication, saying that her daughter had grown up watching Cyrus on ‘Hannah Montana’ and feared that would try to copy her behaviour.
