Pinterest accounts of a number of users were reportedly hacked and flooded with spam pictures related to weight loss ads.The site, where users can 'pin' their interests and projects, acknowledged the exploit and said that they have restored the affected accounts in the safe mode.Pinterest advised its users to use unique and strong passwords as a precautionary measure to avoid spam like the recent flood of butt pics.According to Tech Crunch, as Pinterest is growing in popularity, it is also becoming more prone to hacking of its Pinners' accounts.Users are also advised to report suspicious pins, be wary of third-party apps, and check destination links before repinning content.
