Lai said that the Malaysian authorities were not concealing any information about the flight, reported BBC. He said that they would keep the search for the plane going, which disappeared with 239 people on board in 2014.

Malaysia's civil aviation department is due to release an interim report on Sunday on the flight that was en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
