Fighters returning to Germany from Iraq and Syria after fighting with the Islamic State (IS) group have revealed the militant group's terror among its own members speaking of a climate of fear, mistrust and mercilessness.

According to News.com.au, around 200 jihadists have returned to Germany after fighting with the IS and one in five of them have agreed to cooperate with German security services to give details of their time spent in Iraq and Syria.One of the jihadists said that he was taken to a slaughter house for refusing to hand over his passport. In the slaughter house, the walls and floor were covered in blood.He also said that a headless corpse was tossed into his sleeping quarters.Many fighters who had tried to leave the country without the written permission of an emir were ordered to be executed.Several fighters who have returned to German state of North Rhine Westphalia were traumatized or disillusioned.
