This new development is likely to fuel tensions with the United States as U.S. President Donald Trump has termed Iran "a sponsor of militant groups and a threat to Middle East peace".

Iran's third industrial underground missile plant has been established in the IRGC and 'on the sidelines, we will continue to enhance missile potential and quantitative growth', IRNA quoted Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh as saying.

The commander also revealed that new type of ground to ground missile named 'Dezbul' will be unveiled in the near future, thus enhancing the country's defense capabilities.

Hajizadeh said the Iranian forces will repel any military assault against the country's territorial integrity.
