I am the idiot today, tweets David Cameron's sister-in-law after wedding pic of British PM sleeping goes viral

Emily Sheffield, Samantha Cameron's sister whose picture that was shared on Instagram with her sister Alice in the foreground and British PM David Cameron sleeping in the background went viral on Thursday and Friday.

The Deputy Editor at British Vogue tweeted on Friday stating that she had only 8 followers on Instagram where the picture was shared and the wedding picture was only meant for them.

But a picture of one of the world's most powerful man snoozing with his favourite red box nearby would hardly escape the attention of the media in the age of social media when it was shared on a public picture sharing space.

Sheffield tweeted,

Ok so I am the idiot today. For the record I had 8 followers when posted, all family and friends, then forgot toremove it#amateur

The picture taken on the wedding day of Samantha Cameron and Emily Sheffield's sister Alice's wedding day has the PM sleeping barefoot on a white bed with one hand behind his head. Cameron's red dispatch box full of ministerial correspondence was near him on the bed.

Just back from the G20 summit in St Petersburg where the Syria crisis was keenly discussed was a moment of deep stress for the British PM in addition to the jet lag after the trip.

The picture was removed from Sheffield's Instagram account after commentators noticed David Cameron snoozing in the background of the picture.
