Afghan President Hamid Karzai has blocked a draft on domestic abuse, calling for alterations to protect women rights.The draft was seeking to silence victims of domestic violence, forced marriage and child abuse and demanded major revisions after a campaign by Afghan activists and western diplomats.According to the Guardian, the legislation bans relatives from testifying against each other.The provision was inserted into a new criminal prosecution code at the last minute.
