Another earthquake was felt in Nepal on Saturday measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale. The tremors from the quake were felt across north Bengal and Sikkim this evening at 5.05 pm.

The Indian Meterological Department in-charge in Sikkim, Gopinath Raha, said the tremor lasted for 10.5 seconds. The quake originated in Nepal at a depth of 10 km, he said. There were no reports of any damage or casualty from anywhere in the region.A map of the affected region and the epicentre:
