Gilani, who remained in power from 2008 to June 2012, said Pakistan has been against drone strikes since the beginning, and has conveyed this view to the US on all forums, the Washington Post reports.

The statement came in response to the revelation made on Thursday disclosing top-secret CIA files which showed Washington and Islamabad had shared all details of drone strikes that happened from 2007 to 2011 in the tribal regions of Pakistan.
