Karzai said that the Taliban should maintain peace with the fellow citizens, reports The Express Tribune.

Karzai's statement came following the Taliban chief Mullah Omar's Eid message that his fighters, on the ground of Jihad, had been victorious.

Taliban had launched two attacks recently at the Kabul international airport.

Karzai also said that foreign terrorists had entered Afghanistan but refrained from mentioning any country.

However, Karzai's security officials said that they were Pakistani terrorists.
