Egyptian girl dies of bird flu, says ministry
A 15-year-old Egyptian girl, admitted to a hospital on December 20, died of bird flu on Monday, the Egyptian Health Ministry said.
CAIRO: A 15-year-old Egyptian girl died of bird flu on Monday, the Egyptian Health Ministry said in a statement.
The girl was admitted to a hospital on December 20 after being diagnosed with the disease.
She was given Tamiflu and put on a ventilator but died on Monday after suffering cardiac arrest, the official Middle East News Agency quoted an Egyptian Health Ministry statement as saying.
