Pakistani Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Saturday said that all outstanding issues between Pakistan and India can be resolved through meaningful dialogue.

Chaudhry spoke on the desire for better ties on the day Pakistan released 57 fishing boats of Indian fishermen. He said that Pakistan wants to have good relations with India. He said that better relations between Pakistan and India will pave the way for the prosperity of the people of the two countries, Radio Pakistan reported.

Chaudhry said that process of restoration of relations between Pakistan and India has been started. He said Indian Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar had recently visited Pakistan and that this process should move forward.

Chaudhry had led the Pakistan side in talks with Jaishankar in Islamabad earlier this month.
