Only days after China warned India against deploying the supersonic BrahMos along the Himalayan border region, one of China's best and deadliest stealth fighter jet, J-20, was spotted at the Daochenge Yading airport in the high altitude Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The airport lies to the east of India's north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.

The image of the aircraft, which is also one of China's best kept secrets, appeared on Twitter and also on the military aviation news site Alert 5.

What's even more intriguing is the fact that, this revelation happened right before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to China for the G20 Summit scheduled for September 4 and 5.

Positioning the jet at the highest civilian airbase, at 14000ft, gives China a strategic advantage since the terrain makes air combat almost impossible.

Upon deployment of the BrahMos missiles, as reported by the Sputnik International, the Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson had said,"We hope the Indian side can do more for peace and stability in the border region, rather than the contrary."

However, rejecting any possibility of threats, the Indian Army told NDTV, "Our threat perceptions and security concerns are our own, and how we address these by deploying assets on our territory should be no one else's concern."
