"Not my President", "Trump you're fired" and "We protest the president-elect" were just some of the chants heard from New York to California, signaling clear unrest, frustration and division over the shocking presidential election results.

A demonstration was held outside Trump Tower, the president elect's home on Fifth Avenue. Many also chanted "Not my president" at a Manhattan park.
Oakland, California
Protesters threw objects at police in riot gear.

1,800 reportedly people gathered outside the Trump International Hotel and Tower, chanting phrases like "No Trump! No KKK! No racist USA."
