LAHORE: The Chinese government has expressed concern over the failure of the Pakistani authorities to proceed against the Lal Masjid clerics who had kidnapped six Chinese nationals from Islamabad. Over 100 Chinese women working in the massage parlours of Islamabad have moved to Lahore, considering it a safer abode.

A spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan is worried about the dangers confronted by the Chinese nationals and urged the government to ensure the security of Chinese workers in Islamabad.
