A senior politician, Vitaly Klitschko, in Ukraine has pulled out of presidential elections planned in May.The former boxing world champion said instead of running for the president he would back tycoon Petro Poroshenko.According to the BBC, Klitschko's withdrawal means the race is likely to be between Poroshenko and former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.The 42-year-old announced his decision to pull out of the presidential race, dated for 25 May, at his Udar (Punch) party's gathering in Kiev on Saturday.He stressed that a contender with 'the highest chances to win should be running' for the presidency.In all, 15 contenders are planning to challenge for the presidency.
