The 49 year-old CEO of BMW was then helped off the stage.

A spokesperson for the company later stated,”Harald Krueger experienced a moment of dizziness. As a result, the press conference was cancelled in order that Mr Krueger could be examined by a doctor. Mr Krueger’s health is stable, and he is recovering well.”

Sources indicate that Krueger had been travelling a lot recently and wasn’t feeling too well ahead of the conference, but took the call to still address the crowd.

BMW’s CFO, Friedrich Eichiner took over from Krueger for the roundtable press conference that was held later.
