The policewoman helped make the arrest when she was off-duty.
Giving a new meaning to the phrase "dressed to kill", Swedish off-duty policewoman Mikaela Kellner helped make an arrest in just a bikini.
Mikaela was sunbathing in a park at Stockholm with her friends, when the thief stole one of their phones. Along with one of her other police friends, she chased down the thief and took him down; her attire was never a problem.
In an interview with Aftonbladet, Mikaela said,"I did not hesitate. Had I been naked, I still would have intervened. There is nothing stopping me."
Kellner said they got suspicious when the man approached them claiming to sell some publications for the homeless, started loitering and put some of the papers down on their blankets. When he left one of her friends realised that her phone was missing.
"There was no time, so I ran after him, maybe 15 metres or so. One of my friends is also a police officer, so we got hold of him. He tried to get away so we held onto him harder," she told the Swedish news site The Local.
After she shared the photo on her Instagram account, it took the Internet by storm.
Besides being a policewoman, Mikaela Kellner is also a powerlifter and crossfit practitioner.
If this does not encourage you to get fit, nothing will.
