Austria: At least one dead, several injured after explosion in gas pipeline outside Vienna

An explosion took place at Austria's main gas pipeline hub at Baumgarten east of Vienna on Tuesday, leaving several people injured, police said.

"An explosion occurred at 8:45 AM, followed by a fire.

Things are under control but according to preliminary reports there are several people injured," police spokesman Edmund Tragschitz said.
