A 3-year-old was one of the 11 people that were shot on Thursday night in a park on Chicago's South Side.
Four of the victims are said to be critical. According to the information given by Deputy District Fire Chief James Mungovan, there have been no fatalities so far.
The site of the shooting was reportedly a basketball court in Cornell Square Park. 70-year-old Francis John, who stays close to the park and heard gunfire reportedly told the Chicago Sun-Times, "It was a lot of boom, boom, boom” .
