A total of 209 people have been killed in the recent floods in Pakistan's southern Sindh province, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on Monday.The NDMA told a flood relief committee of the National Assembly - the lower house of parliament - that over 5.3 million people were affected by the recent monsoon rains and floods in the province, Online news agency reported.The NDMA told the committee that China has pledged a sum of $4.7 million in emergency humanitarian aid.There has also been a number of dengue fever cases in Sindh after the rains.According to media reports, more than 170 people have been affected in the province.
