American actress Meghan Markle now the new duchess of Sussex tied the knot with Prince Harry at a fairy-tale royal wedding on May 19 this year, in the presence of 600 guests, including the Queen at the iconic St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

And now the lovely couple are soon going to be parents as the Duke and the Duchess are expecting their first child, due in the spring of 2019. 

Yes, you read that right! Kenington Palance, in a statemnet confirmed the news while saying that, "The Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019."

The exciting news comes just hours after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Sydney for their first international tour.

Only on Monday morning did the two land in Australia, before officially starting their first overseas tour as a married couple.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in July announced that they will soon be living in Adelaide Cottage.

The couple at the moment is living in Nottingham Palace on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

According to reports by Media, Queen Elizabeth is gifting Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The cottage is reportedly being designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Adelaide Cottage shall be a good place to welcome the child! 

Currently, the royal couple is in Australia. They landed there on Monday, a day before the official start of their first overseas tour as a married couple
