While Pak PM Imran Khan has been ranting 24/7 about India’s internal affairs, getting so agitated to end with a huff that there was no point talking to India, things aren’t going that well back home.

We are not talking about the cash-strapped country’s economy or rising prices or the isolation over Jammu and Kashmir. According to a news report in Dawn.com, NA-95 (Mianwali -I) has reported horrendous marks in Class IX.

Results from his constituency show that all 62 students representing the Govt High School, Bangi Khel failed. Meanwhile, 71 students out of 76 of Govt High school, Tola Mangali, 71 failed. 80 students of the out of 83 of Govt High School, Tabi Sar also failed.

Identical results from other state-run schools of the district were reported, whilst worse results were reported from Isakhel, the PM’s constituency.

A teacher told Dawn that a shortage of science teachers and lack of regular headmasters was a problem. They also blamed the no-fail policy in class 8.

One unkind Twitter user summed it up by saying: “Damn .... Im’s “dimness” seems contagious.” For the uninitiated, Im the Dim is a sobriquet bestowed upon the Pak PM by his detractors who have often doubted his intellectual capacity. Confusing basic geography, like thinking Japan and Germany share a border, or quoting Ayn Rand like a teenage Marxist hasn’t helped his cause.

Perhaps Khan would do well to focus on what’s going on his own backyard rather than worrying about a democratic country’s internal affairs.

The Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir was discussed during a meeting held between Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa here on Thursday.

"Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM Office today. National security matters and the situation in...Jammu and Kashmir was discussed during the meeting," the Pakistan government's official Twitter account stated.Pakistan has continued to raise objections against India's decision to scrap Article 370 which accorded a special status to the former state, which has been hived into two UTs, namely Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. New Delhi has time and again reiterated that the decision is entirely the internal affairs of India."They relate to the Constitution, which is a sovereign matter. It is time for Pakistan to accept the reality and stop interfering in internal affairs of other countries," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar had said during a media briefing previously while referring to the decisions taken by India in J&K.
